The Family Apostolate is the department dedicated to the pastoral care of families in the Archdiocese of Changanacherry. It upholds the vision of the family as the Domestic Church, where faith is nurtured, lived, and shared. Inspired by the mission of the Catholic Church to support, sanctify, and evangelize families, the Family Apostolate strives to strengthen family life, enabling families to reflect the love of Christ and become authentic witnesses of the Gospel in today’s world.

The Family Apostolate conducts marriage preparation courses for couples preparing for the Sacrament of Matrimony, organizes retreats and formation programmes for married couples, and provides pastoral accompaniment to pregnant women, widows, and the elderly. Through its various ministries, it seeks to promote the spiritual, emotional, and social well-being of families at every stage of life.
